This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what rights you have. It applies to this website and to the enquiry and appointment-booking services we operate on behalf of our clients.

Who we are

This website is operated by Wall Media Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales under company number 15045668, whose registered office is Longfrey Cottage, Dorking Road, Chilworth, Surrey, GU4 8RH. Stairlift Lead Partner is a trading brand of Wall Media Ltd and is not a separate legal entity.

Wall Media Ltd (“we”, “us”) is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. You can reach us about anything in this policy at hello@wallmedia.co.uk.

Where we generate and qualify enquiries on behalf of a client, that client is a separate controller of the data once it is passed to them, and their own privacy policy will also apply.

What we collect

From website visitors: pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, and referral source.

From enquiry forms and advertising lead forms: name, telephone number, email address, postcode or town, and answers to qualification questions such as homeowner status, staircase type, and intended timescale.

From telephone calls: notes taken during qualification, and, where we tell you at the start of the call and you do not object, a recording for training and quality purposes.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

To respond to your enquiry and arrange an appointment. Lawful basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract.

To qualify enquiries and pass suitable ones to the relevant supplier. Lawful basis: legitimate interests, namely connecting people seeking a product with a supplier able to provide it.

To measure and improve advertising performance. Lawful basis: consent where cookies or similar technologies are involved, otherwise legitimate interests.

To meet legal and regulatory obligations. Lawful basis: legal obligation.

Advertising and measurement

We run advertising on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram). Where you submit a lead form on one of those platforms, Meta processes that data under its own terms before it reaches us.

This website does not currently run any advertising or analytics technology of its own, and sets no advertising or analytics cookies. If we introduce one, we will ask for your consent before anything non-essential is stored on your device, and you will be able to withdraw that consent at any time.

Who we share it with

The supplier whose appointment you have booked. This is the core purpose of the service and we will make clear at the point of enquiry who that will be.

Service providers who process data on our instructions: hosting, customer relationship management, calendar scheduling and telephony. Each is bound by a written processing agreement.

Authorities or advisers where we are legally required to disclose.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not supply the same enquiry to multiple competing suppliers.

International transfers

We operate in the United Kingdom and the United States, so data may be transferred between the two. Where data leaves the UK or EEA we rely on adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses, together with appropriate additional safeguards.

How long we keep it

Enquiry data is retained for as long as needed to provide the service and then for a limited further period to handle queries and demonstrate compliance. Call recordings are kept for a shorter period. Specific retention periods are available on request.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it.

If you are in the UK or EEA you may also complain to your supervisory authority. In the UK that is the Information Commissioner's Office.

If you are a California resident you may have additional rights, including the right to know what personal information is collected and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information.

Cookies

At the time of writing this website stores two things on your device, both of them strictly necessary and neither of them shared with anyone: a record of the cookie choice you made, and a display preference. Neither identifies you and neither is used for advertising or analytics.

Nothing else is stored without your consent. Where we want to use cookies or similar storage that are not strictly necessary, the banner asks first, and you can change or withdraw that choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer, or through your browser settings.

Contact

For any privacy question, or to exercise the rights above, email hello@wallmedia.co.uk, or write to Wall Media Ltd at Longfrey Cottage, Dorking Road, Chilworth, Surrey, GU4 8RH. We aim to respond within one month.
